Fired Unreasonably

Well, for all those that haven't heard the news yet, I decided to put it out in the open. The company I was working for up until April 5th, 2010, EZyield.com, decided on March 29th (a week before-hand), Decided to fire me for all the worst reasons possible.

I was a PHP Developer that also doubled as doing Server Administration tasks that ended up taking 1/4 - 2/3 of my time from developing every day to fix and solve immediate problems. Well I was told repeatedly that I would be moved into the job role of Server Administration full time, but on the morning of April 5th, 2010, as I was about to head in the doors of work, was called up to the Project Manager's office to be fired. Explaining, "I hired you as a developer, and you're behind on your projects." Which I will add to this reason, I was maybe 2 days behind at best at the current rate. Not to mention, March 29th, the Project Manager put up a task list sticky-note board and said, "Don't worry if you can't get your projects done in the time scale you provided for your tasks, you won't get fired over it."
I noticed after my being fired, there was a job posting on the staffing agency EZYield.com uses for a System Administrator position, the very job I was supposed to be moved into, for even more pay than I myself was making already. Sounds to me like it was purely personal and not the least bit professional.

Was I happy working for EZyield? Absolutely. Wasn't being paid as much as I'd like to have, but the people and environment more than balanced out the rest for me. Nothing bad to say about the actual company environment itself. My co-workers, and you all know whom you are, are awesome, good people.

But, this is my story, and it's a say week for me to have been so suddenly fired, without warning, without even a hint of it, and be out in the job market once again.
